Every project is different, so we tailor our approach to suit you. Some clients like to be involved throughout the build, while others prefer us to manage the entire process. We can coordinate with our trusted local tradespeople or work alongside your preferred contractors, making everything run as smoothly as possible from design through to installation.

After many years in combined roles as general manager and operational and project management, and following four years assisting Leanne in designing and selling homes for a large group home builder, Mark felt the opportunity to acquire The Kitchen People was the perfect next step.

Leanne brings a wealth of new home design and building experience, with over 19 years as a Senior New Home Consultant for one of New Zealand’s largest home builders. Leanne is now driving our marketing and social media to make more people in our part of New Zealand aware of the amazing things we do at The Kitchen People.

When Mark and Leanne are not designing kitchens or new homes, they’re enjoying their Coatesville lifestyle block, relaxing by the pool, or running around after their five kids.
Craig Clarke
General Manager
Craig is a great problem solver and brings a wealth of practical knowledge and experience to the Kitchen People team. The seamless progress of our projects from design through to manufacturing and installation is a tribute to Craig’s undeniable management skills.
Craig joined us in 2018, and in his role as General Manager, he oversees the day-to-day operation of the company, where he works with our production team to keep everything moving efficiently from design through to manufacture and installation.
Outside work, Craig enjoys spending time with his family and looking after his rural property. He also has a passion for fitness and enjoys challenging himself by competing in a variety of endurance events.
