This project features a bold, contemporary palette built around matte black cabinetry, dramatic grey-veined marble, and a moody charcoal feature wall – a striking, gallery-like backdrop that lets the stone take centre stage. Warm brass tapware and pendant lighting soften the darkness, while tan leather barstools and timber flooring bring warmth into the otherwise monochrome scheme.

The kitchen is anchored by a large waterfall-edge island in a dramatic light grey and white veined marble, paired with a slim brass gooseneck tap, and a single pendant light suspended against a black-painted feature wall. Full-height matte black cabinetry runs along the back wall, framed by a matching marble splashback with integrated under-cabinet lighting and black-toned oven and appliance fronts. A separate scullery/wet bar area continues the theme with black cabinetry, a herringbone-patterned tile splashback, and warm oak open shelving for glass and barware, finished with brass tapware to tie the aesthetic to the main kitchen.
